Workshop Content and Benefits

Drawing upon my own experience, classes in the UK and India and from the work of BKS Iyengar, this workshop focuses purely on Pranayama.

We begin with restorative asanas, which help prepare the body, breath and mind better for pranayama practice. Then we observe and explore the control of our breath and energy (‘prana’). 

It can have a deep and powerful effect on our mind, body and spirit.  You may find you have more energy or relax more deeply.  It can help to lower blood pressure, clear sinuses and improve our breathing. We may find we can manage life stresses better, promote our bodies own healing and have a stronger sense of wellbeing.


It’s recommended you have 1-2 years of Iyengar Yoga practice.  Feel free to contact me for advice.
